About Lucy
Helping people think clearly, move forward, and make lasting change.
Background
How I became a career and life coach
As a manager, I learned how organizations work and how people succeed within them. I coached employees, hired and supervised teams, and learned through experience what helps people grow and move forward. I’ve also done my own personal work and exploration, which shapes how I work with clients.
My background includes:
Workforce training, international development, public health, and health care advocacy
Creating programs and running large systems
Building a successful business as a licensed health insurance advisor
Now that I’m a career and life coach, I help my clients learn practical skills and make practical progress. They learn to move past inner and outer obstacles. I help clients define success in their own terms and then make it happen. My sense of humor makes all this work fun as well as serious!

My story
I’ve spent my life growing into my real self, and I know that kind of change is possible.
Lots of things helped. My coaching training included lots of coaching and helped me become happier, more authentic and more courageous.
I meditate some, and can help my clients become more mindful. I believe in growing and learning, respecting yourself and others, living what you believe…and having fun. Peace and racial and social justice are important to me. I’m a hiker and voracious reader. I love adventure and have worked and traveled around the world.
